    • As of November 8, 2021, all tourists over 18 years of age must present their Covid vaccination certificate or card (complete scheme) to enter the United States. The only vaccinations allowed are:

*Note:
  • If you are a Brazilian, you must present a tourist visa to enter Mexican territory, since August 18, 2022.
  • If your nationality is Ecuadorian or Venezuelan and you travel to Mexico (Mexico City or Cancun), we inform you that you must have a valid visa to enter your destination.
  • As of April 1, 2022, all Colombian passengers traveling to Mexico must fill out the electronic pre-registration form before the trip. Enter the form by clicking here
  • Follow the instructions and upload the required documents on the form. Once completed, a QR code will be generated and you will receive your Multiple Migration Form (MMF) by email. Print these two documents and take them with you to present them to the migration agents upon arrival in Mexico.
*Passengers who have:
  • Valid and current multiple-entry visa from Canada, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, or any country that belongs to the Schengen area.
  • Permanent resident card in Canada, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Peru, or any country that belongs to the Schengen area.
  • All Colombian passengers traveling to Mexico must fill out the electronic pre-registration form before the trip. Click here to fill out the form. Once completed, a QR code will be generated, and you will receive your Multiple Immigration Form (FMM). Print out these two documents and take them with you to show them to the agents at the airport of origin before boarding the flight and the immigration agents upon arrival in Mexico.

*Notes:
  • All travelers over 18 years of age traveling to Colombian territory have to present their Covid vaccination certificate or card (complete schedule), with a minimum of 14 days of having completed the schedule before the date and time of boarding.
  • All travelers (Colombians or foreigners) who do not have a vaccination card, who have an incomplete vaccination schedule or who do not complete the schedule 14 days before the date of travel, may travel by presenting a PCR test with negative result, issued no later than 72 hours before the scheduled time of shipment or an antigen test with a negative result, issued no later than 48 hours before the scheduled boarding time.
  • Remember to arrive at the airport with your Check - Mig filled out.
  • Passengers under 18 years of age are exempt to presenting a vaccination certificate and Covid test.
  • Remember that the use of mask is mandatory, from your arrival at the airport and in all stages of the flight. We recommend the use of surgical and N95-type mask for those over 60 years of age or with comorbidities
  • If your final destination is the Island of San Andrés, you must buy the tourist card in the service module of the waiting room on the day of the flight. The value is approximately $124,000 Colombian pesos and must be paid in cash. The mentioned price may change without prior notice. All tourists must pay the tourist card except if the stay on the island is less than 24 hours or children under 7 years old.
  • You must also show the island authorities the reservation or address where you are going to stay during your visit to the island. All Viva customers who are not residents of San Andrés must buy a round-trip ticket. The residents of the island will be able to buy single tickets.
To enter Peru

  • Keep in mind that all Peruvians or foreign residents, 12 or older, that enter Peru must present a Covid vaccine card or certificate demonstrating a complete vaccination with the third booster shot given. This should indicate the last vaccination taking place at least 14 days before your flight.
  • If you are a non-resident foreigner and want to enter Peruvian territory, you must present your Covid vaccination certificate with a complete scheme according to your country of origin. This must be updated 14 days before the day of your flight.
  • If you don't present your Covid certificate with a complete scheme and a third dose for Peruvians and residents, you can travel presenting a negative Molecular test (PCR) issued within 48 hours prior to the departure of the flight to Peru.
  • From now on, the use of a KN95 mask is mandatory, or failing that, the use of double mask to travel on domestic and international flights to and from Peru.
  • If you are a foreigner and want to enter Peruvian territory with a foreigner's card, you must submit your query online or printed, where you validate the expiration of your residence through the Peru Migration page clicking here.
  • Peruvians and resident foreigners who enter Peru from the Republic of South Africa or Botswana, or who have made stops in these places, must present a vaccination scheme and PCR test no more than 48 hours prior to the departure of the flight to Peru .

*Notes:
  • No traveler who enters Argentine territory, whether a citizen or a foreigner, must present a vaccination certificate or a negative Covid test.
  • If you are a non-resident foreigner or a member of the crew, you must present Covid-19 health insurance that covers hospitalization, isolation and/or medical transfer services.
  • Passengers under 13 years of age traveling unaccompanied must have a notarial authorization in which the parents/guardians establish that they can travel alone. This requirement does not apply to minor travelers who are 13 years of age or older, it will depend on the restrictions of their country of origin.
  • Foreigners under 5 years of age do not require a passport if they are traveling with a parent/guardian and are registered in the companion's passport.

Documentation and requirements
  • Have your passport and visa ready if required
  • To leave Colombia, you must fill out the immigration pre-registration form called Check Mig – both foreigners and Colombians -, before your international flight and prior to entering the immigration control posts. This form can be completed between 72 hours and one (1) hour before the trip. Find the form here
Personal protection items
  • It is essential that you wear your surgical or face mask at all times, from the entrance into the airport, while on the aircraft and at the arrival airport, always covering both your nose and mouth. This must be a surgical mask and must be worn by all travelers 2 years of age and older. For flights longer than two (2) hours, you must bring multiple masks to replace during the trip. In the case of passengers over 60 years of age or those with comorbidities, we recommend the use of a type N95 face mask.
Connecting passengers
  • If you carry checked baggage, it will be tagged through until the final destination. If you need access to your luggage at the connection point, inform the agent at the time of check-in, and remember that on the day of your flight to your final destination you must deliver it again at the airport counter following the usual check-in process.
  • Keep in mind that you must adhere to the entry measures stipulated by the authorities of the country of your final destination.
On your return flight
  • Remember to fill out the Check-Mig migratory pre-registration form, between 72 and two hours before your return flight to Colombia.
  • You must wear a surgical or face mask while at the airport and during all phases of the flight.
  • If you travel with a connection in Peru, the use of a KN95 mask is essential, or if not available, the use of a three-fold surgical mask covered by a common cloth mask is acceptable.
General recommendations
  • Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the time of the flight. If you want to avoid long lines at the airport, you can add the Fila Express service to your reservation (here)
  • You must remain in your assigned seat throughout the flight. If you want your choice of available seat, you must purchase it in advance through our website ( here)

*Nota:
  • To enter Brazil, you must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that you were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before the beginning of the first segment of your travel itinerary. This certificate must be in either English, Portuguese or Spanish.
  • If you haven't completed your vaccination regime, don't worry! You can travel to this destination as long as you present a negative Covid-19 antigen or PCR test, taken no more than 1 day before departure from the first boarding point on your itinerary. The test result must be in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
  • Passengers under 12 years of age are exempt from presenting a vaccination certificate or a negative Covid test.

Todos los pasajeros llegando desde Brasil a Colombia o a República Dominicana deben estar vacunados contra la fiebre amarilla al menos 10 días antes de la fecha de llegada, por lo cual debes estar vacunado antes de tu viaje a Brasil.

Yellow Fever Vaccine Exemptions:
  • Children under 1 year and adults over 60 years of age.
  • Passengers in transit through Angola, Brazil, Congo (Dem. Rep.) or Uganda with a stop of less than 12 hours if they do not leave the transit areas.
  • Passengers with official proof of medical contraindication, issued by a health authority.
  • If you have had COVID in the past 90 days, you continue to test positive for COVID, but are asymptomatic, you can still travel if you present two positive PCR results at least 14 days apart, with the taken within one day before travel departing your country of origin, and a medical certificate signed by the health professional treating you, stating that you are asymptomatic and cleared to travel. The medical certificate must specify your date of departure.
